Mondi hosts an online talk with UK based illustrator Rachael Presky, featured in the curiosity chapter of the PERGRAPHICA® Catching Feels lookbook.
Rachael’s work is inspired by her day-to-day life. She loves to push the boundaries of the everyday by combining familiar scenes with unusual colour palettes. Drawing influence from the people, animals, and things in her surrounding world, her work has a distinctly contemporary, figurative and illusive style; ranging from children’s designs to conceptual adult illustrations.
Rachael’s work in the Catching Feels book is primarily personal work. She believes that personal work is incredibly important in developing her practice but also for promoting her work. Seeing her illustrations printed on PERGRAPHICA® made a difference for Rachael: “The papers and foils in the Catching Feels book really push my digital illustrations, making them feel more real and have a more traditional, painted feel.”
Find out more about Rachael Presky’s work, style and inspirations in her talk with Zoe Truchy. There will be plenty of time for your questions. The discussion will be in English.
