Farm and Home Interview

Farm & Home and Mondi papers

Farm & home, the premier rural directory service, talked to us about their expansion to print and using Mondi papers to make it happen.

Farm & Home is the premier rural directory service in the USA, providing county maps and information about the people that live in them.

Recently they switched from being a "publisher only" directory to a publisher and printer, extending their value chain to print on two Canon Canon Océ VarioPrint i300 systems, a process that went very quickly within only six months, attributed to the high-speed inkjet nature of these machines.

Why Mondi paper?

When it came to their choice of paper, one thing was clear: their customers needed to be able to jot downnotes or mark sections, and uncoated fine paper as produced by Mondi emerged as the perfect fit.

With DNS® high-speed inkjet, 60 g/m², the results were exceptional: great opacity and overall print quality made this paper their instant favourite.

But great print quality isn't everything: what about customer service? Well, that too turned out to be exceptional. No shipment is ever rejected. "A little extra care" is how Mondi operates and makes sure that every customer, regardless of where in the world they are, receives the best paper in the best possible condition.
