myMondi Privacy and Cookie Notice
This website (“myMondi”) is operated by Mondi Paper Sales GmbH, Marxergasse 4A, 1030 Vienna, Austria (“we” or “us”). This Privacy and Cookie Notice provides you with information on how we, as the data controller, process your personal data with respect to myMondi. It supplements our general Marketing and Sales Privacy Notice which applies to myMondi as well.
1. Purposes for which we process your data
We will process your personal data for the following purposes:
- to make myMondi available to you;
- to further optimize and develop myMondi;
- to create usage statistics;
- to be able to recognize, prevent and investigate attacks on myMondi;
- to perform personalized marketing via electronic and non-electronic means as well as advertising;
- the processing purposes set out in point 1 of the Marketing and Sales Privacy Notice.
2. Processed data categories and legal bases of the processing
In the course of your visit of myMondi we will automatically collect the following information:
- the pages that you visit on myMondi (URLs);
- date and the time of your visit of myMondi;
- your IP address;
- name and version of your web browser;
- the website (URL) you have visited before you accessed myMondi;
- certain cookies and tracking information (see point 3 below); and
- the information you provide to us in the course of a registration on myMondi or when managing your orders.
We collect your personal data (i) from you directly, when you provide us with your personal data or (ii) by monitoring your use of the services of myMondi.
You are under no obligation to provide us with the data we ask you for. However, if you do not provide your personal data, you will not be able to use all the features of myMondi.
We process your personal data in relation to cookies and tracking technologies – as well as in other cases where we separately ask for your consent – on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”). In all other cases, we process your personal data on the basis of our prevailing legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) which is to achieve the purposes set out under point 1 above.
3. Cookies and other tracking technologies
We may store some information on your computer, in the form of a “cookie” or similar file. We may use this to collect other information during your visit of myMondi, such as the particular site areas you visit and the activities in which you participate at myMondi. Most Internet browsers allow you to erase cookies from your computer hard drive, block all cookies, or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. You can obtain information about how to manage cookies at http://www.allaboutcookies.org. We use this information for the purposes set out above under Point 1.MyMondi also uses a tracking pixels that enable us to collect information about how you interact with myMondi and allow us to remember you. In addition to the purposes set out above under Point 1, we use this information in order to improve and customize your browsing experience and for analytics and metrics about our visitors both on myMondi and other media.
MyMondi also uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies to help analyze how users use myMondi.
The information generated by the cookie about your use of myMondi (including your IP address and the URLs of the accessed pages) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. We do not store any of your personal data collected in connection with Google Analytics.
MyMondi uses an IP anonymization feature provided by Google Analytics. Your IP address will therefore be truncated/anonymized by Google as soon as it receives it. On our behalf, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of myMondi, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to us. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.
You can prevent Google’s collection and use of your data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en-GB.

4. Transfer of your personal data
To the extent that this is necessary to achieve the purposes set out under Point 1, we transfer your personal data to the recipients set out in Point 3 of our Marketing and Sales Privacy Notice.Some of the recipients referred to above are located or process personal data outside of your country. The level of data protection in another country may not be equivalent to the one in your country. Therefore, we take measures to guarantee that all recipients provide an adequate level of data protection. We do this for example by entering into appropriate data transfer agreements based on Standard Contractual Clauses (2010/87/EC and/or 2004/915/EC). 5. Retention periods
Your personal data will only be kept for as long as we reasonably consider necessary for achieving the purposes set out in point 1 above and as is permissible under applicable laws. We will in any case retain your personal data for as long as there are statutory retention obligations or potential legal claims are not yet time-barred.
6. Your rights in connection with your personal data
Under applicable law, you have, among others, the rights (under the conditions set out in applicable law): (i) to check whether and what kind of personal data we hold about you and to request copies of such data, (ii) to request correction, supplementation or deletion of your personal data that is inaccurate or processed in non-compliance with applicable requirements, and (iii) to request us to restrict the processing of your personal data, (iv) in certain circumstances, to object for legitimate reasons to the processing of your personal data or to revoke consent previously granted for the processing; such revocation will not affect the lawfulness of the processing prior to the withdrawal of the consent, (v) to request data portability, (vi) to know the identities of third parties to which your personal data are transferred and (vii) to lodge a complaint with the competent authority.
