What distinguishes premium packaging?
Luxury is all about the experience, so packaging should not only contain and protect the product, but it should evoke as much joy in the course of unpacking, as what lies inside. After all, buying premium goods is an emotional decision, guided by a multisensory journey.
When the different senses are stimulated, nerve cells in the brain fire ten times more intensely and brain activity increases by one thousand per cent. Paper is an excellent medium to trigger the senses and add value to your product, from the optics to the haptics.
Sight
Premium packaging is an excellent tool to convey the type of product from the outside in. When it comes to our premium design paper brand, PERGRAPHICA®, the possibilities in package design are wide-ranging – just like its colour spectrum. The PERGRAPHICA® Whites range comprises three shades of white in two surfaces, rough and smooth.
On the other end of the spectrum, PERGRAPHICA® Infinite Black lives up to its name and allows for almost infinite possibilities. But the PERGRAPHICA® world is not only black and white. There are 31 shades to be explored in the PERGRAPHICA® Colours range — from Dark & Deep Colours to Rich Colours and Pale Colours — all of which are available in a rough surface.
Looking for something truly unique? Our IQ Grass + Packaging range is made out of FSC® certified pulp and up to 30% grass fibres. It has a distinctive natural appearance due to small visible grass fibres and has been especially developed for packaging solutions thanks to its high strength properties.

Smooth and silky surfaces are suitable for high-tech products and cosmetics, for example. Natural and organic products, on the other hand, benefit from a more haptic feel, like our PERGRAPHICA® Rough papers or IQ Grass + Packaging, which possess a natural texture that is suitable for luxurious packaging. Our papers and boards all perform successfully in folding, creasing and die cutting.
Tactile finishes trigger a perceived “wow" effect. This interactive element enhances attention and delivers a positive experience. To allow for truly unique projects, our PERGRAPHICA® papers have also proven their performance in special finishings, including hot foil stamping, embossing and debossing, laser cutting and engraving and relief coating, for precise results right down to the smallest details.

All our uncoated fine papers are produced from FSC® or PEFC certified wood from sustainably managed forests.
